contact DJ

DJ was born and raised in Wisconsin. He is the oldest of four with triplet siblings, a brother and two sisters. DJ attended the University of Minnesota where he graduated with a degree in Strategic Communications. He has been involved in middle school ministry for more than 6 years, including two years as an intern at University Presbyterian Church in Seattle. When he’s not working DJ enjoys watching movies, playing volleyball and ultimate Frisbee, miniature golfing, video games, photography, sleeping, reading Get Fuzzy comics, listening to music and curling. While he still has a special place in his heart for “America’s Dairyland”, the Green Bay Packers, and the Wisconsin Badgers, DJ really enjoys living in the Northwest. “I absolutely love working with Middle school students, they’re just plain fun. They have such incredible potential, it ‘s awesome to see what happens when Christ gets a hold of their lives.”

contact Jessie

Jessie grew up in Centerville, Utah.  She graduated in 2009 from Whitworth University with degrees in Mathematics and Theology.  While at Whitworth, Jessie was involved in Hosanna, a student-led worship service, and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.  Jessie also volunteered for three years with the high school youth group at a local church and spent five summers working at Christian summer camps, including Camp Spalding. For fun, Jessie loves to ski, hike, camp, or do anything else involving the mountains.  She enjoys cooking, doing puzzles, listening to music, and sleeping.  Some of her life goals are to run a ½ marathon, go backpacking in Europe, and make a difference for Christ in as many students’ lives as possible.  Jessie is passionate about sharing Christ with youth and is excited about this opportunity to serve and grow at Chapel Hill.

contact Kirsten

Kirsten was born and raised many years ago in Seattle, WA. She graduated from Western Washington University with a degree in Education, and although she is no longer teaching, she still loves to work with middle and high school students. Kirsten has been married to her husband, Scott, for 13 years, and they have two highly energetic and outgoing children. In addition to being a mom, Kirsten loves to laugh, dance and drink coffee. She loves being a mom, but also truly enjoys her role at Chapel Hill. As the Administrative Assistant to the Student Ministries Dept, Kirsten takes care of all the little details related to camps, retreats, mission trips and special events. Even though she doesn't work with students directly, she loves to get to know both the kids and their parents! Stop by and say “Hi.”
