contact Blaire
Though born in Appleton, Wisconsin, Blaire grew up in Rhode Island (an actual state). She is the youngest of four children (a brother and two half-sisters). Her whole family lives no more than 10 minutes away in any direction. She attended Gordon College and spent a semester at the School of Divinity in Edinburgh, Scotland at the University of Edinburgh. She graduated with a BA in youth ministry and minored in biblical studies and communications. During that time she most enjoyed being a youth leader at a local church in Gloucester, MA (pronounced “Glosta”). At school, besides doing all…okay, most, of her work, she managed 3 on-campus jobs: Chapel Tech (lots of pressing buttons, sometimes the right ones), bookstore student manager (lots of reading), and church relation’s director’s assistant (lots of web surfing). For fun, Blaire loves to play Ultimate Frisbee, go kayaking, hiking, canoeing, and is an avid movie watcher. She also loves roller coasters, enjoys filming and editing videos, can get by on the guitar and is a chocolate fiend. One of her favorite snacks is chocolate covered gummy bears (don’t knock it ‘till you try it). Ultimately, Blaire is thrilled to be at Chapel Hill and is even more excited to love on their students in a way that reflects the incredible love she has known from Christ.
Kirsten was born and raised many years ago in Seattle, WA. She graduated from Western Washington University with a degree in Education, and although she is no longer teaching, she still loves to work with middle and high school students. Kirsten has been married to her husband, Scott, for 13 years, and they have two highly energetic and outgoing children. In addition to being a mom, Kirsten loves to laugh, dance and drink coffee. She loves being a mom, but also truly enjoys her role at Chapel Hill. As the Administrative Assistant to the Student Ministries Dept, Kirsten takes care of all the little details related to camps, retreats, mission trips and special events. Even though she doesn't work with students directly, she loves to get to know both the kids and their parents! Stop by and say “Hi.”
