d-groups are the small group element of our middle school ministry here at Chapel Hill.
{why d-groups?}
The purpose behind d-groups is help students to grow in their walk with Christ and to get them connected with other middle school believers and an adult Christian friend.
We believe that life change happens best in the context of small groups and relationships. Through prayer, digging into God’s Word, having fun and building relationships, we hope to encourage, educate, and enlighten students spiritually and socially.
{what is a d-group?}
d-groups consist of six to eight
students from the same grade and gender and one to two adult or high school leaders that meet every week.
{when and where do d-groups meet?}
d-groups meet throughout the week in homes and at the church at times that are determined by the students and leaders involved in the group.
{are d-groups fun?}
Heck yes they’re fun! In fact time for fun is a mandatory part of every
d-group. I’m serious. It happens.
{why should you be in a d-group?}
d-groups are a safe and fun place for students to get connected, ask
questions and explore their faith, open up and just be themselves.
so, basically, if you want to grow in your faith, have questions about your faith, or just want to hang out with fun Christian friends and leaders, then d-groups are
definitely for you.
if you're interested in joining a d-group please talk to DJ or Nate and we'll hook you up!
