Summer Trip Registration Deadline – June 1
Summer is almost here and that means it’s time to register for our summer trips! We only have a limited number of spots for both of our awesome trips:
Yakama Mission Trip / July 18-23 / $300
We’ll spend the week serving on the Yakama Reservation in Central Washington – painting homes + sharing the love of Jesus with local kids at Kid’s Club. We will also have the opportunity to learn more about the Yakama Indian Nation and how God is at work in powerful ways throughout that community. Download the Yakama registration form
Camp Spalding / August 8-14 / $450
You don’t want to miss Camp Spalding this summer. Get ready for a jam-packed week full of games, great food, fun with friends, time with Jesus, blobbing and swimming and so much more! It’s an amazing opportunity to hang with your friends from Extreme and grow in your walk with God. Download the Spalding registration form

** The registration deadline for both of these trips is June 1 – after this date the registration cost for both trips will increase by $50. And for those in need of scholarships, you must register by June 1 to ensure scholarship assistance. **
Limelight Academy Awards
Wednesday, June 2 / 6:30-8:30pm
That’s right…get excited…because this Wednesday night, June 2, it’s time for the Limelight Academy Awards! It’s an evening to get dressed up in your swankiest/craziest/fanciest attire, enjoy some delicious appetizers, and celebrate the end to another awesome year at Extreme as we watch all of the Limelight videos and hand out awards. You won’t want to miss this!
** We’re still in need of families who can a bring dessert for the Limelight Academy Awards (cookies, bars, brownies…nothing fancy). If you can help us in this way please respond to this email or contact DJ or Jessie @ 253.851.7779) **

Extreme Summer Programs…Here They Come!
Extreme Summer Nights / Wednesdays / 6:30-9:00pm
Extreme Summer Nights is our summer-styled youth group. It takes place on Wednesday Nights from 6:30-9:00pm at a house on the water here in Gig Harbor. Students come and hang out with friends and leaders, eat delicious food hot off the grill, swim, go tubing, worship and learn more about God’s great love for us. Each week we’ll post a map to our Extreme Summer Nights location on the front page of our website by Tuesday at noon.
Our Summer Nights dates for summer 2010 are: June 23 / June 30 / July 7 / July 14 / July 28 / August 4 / August 18
** We’re in need of families willing to provide boats (with drivers) to make Extreme Summer Nights possible. We’re also in need families who are willing to help provide food at Extreme Summer Nights. If you’d be able to drive your boat or help to provide food for an evening please reply to this email or contact Kirsten Gallacher (253-851-7779 x275) and we’ll get you on the schedule for the summer. Extreme Summer Nights can’t happen without your involvement! **
Sunday Mornings
Throughout the summer we will not have Extreme Sunday Mornings. Instead, we’re encouraging students to attend worship with their families. The Middle School Staff typically worships @ 10:57 and students are welcome to sit with us (in the front left part of the sanctuary) if they’d like.
Extreme Summer Calendar
Heads up! Our new summer calendar will be making its presence known in your mailbox and home sometime in the next week. It’s chalked full of important dates and info about all of our Extreme summer happenings. You will also be able to find a PDF version of the calendar on our website.
