    No Extreme This Wednesday

    Wednesday, January 18 / 6:30-8:15pm

Due to potential inclement weather tomorrow, January 18, Chapel Hill has decided to cancel all Wednesday activities and classes. This means there will be no Extreme tomorrow night. See you on Sunday Morning (9:00-10:00am) or next Wednesday, January 25 (6:30-8:15pm).

    Tacoma Rescue Mission

    Friday, January 27/ 6:00pm-8:30pm

Come join us and help serve homeless folks in Tacoma on Friday, January 27. We’ll meet at the church (on the patio outside the Diner) and then carpool down to the Tacoma Rescue Mission– we’ll be meeting at the church at 6:00pm and leaving at 6:15pm - to love and serve the homeless. This is a great opportunity for families to serve together. If you’re interested in bringing additional items to distribute, here are a few suggestions:

Toilet Paper / Bottled Water / Socks / Hats & Mittens / Backpacks / Sleeping Bags / Travel Size Toiletries

We’re in need of parents to help drive and serve alongside students while we’re at TSM. If you’re interested in joining us, or able to drive, please contact DJ Rippl (206.851.5834) and let him know – hope to see you there!

    Free Screening of “Finding Kind”

    Saturday, January 21 / 7:00pm @ the Boys + Girls Club

In case you missed this awesome film back in October, here’s your chance to see it…and to invite your friends. “Finding Kind” is a powerful documentary film made by two teenage girls to address the issue of bullying among girls and call students to take up the cause of kindness in their schools, communities, and relationships.

On Saturday, January 21 @ 7:00pm there will be a FREE screening of this film at the Gig Harbor Boys + Girls Club. If you are a girl, have daughters, or know someone who is a girl…you don’t want to miss this FREE screening. See you there.

    Sunday, April 1 / 6:30-8:30pm

Have you had “the Conversation” with your kids yet?  You know…that conversation about love, sex and relationships. We’re excited to have Brad Henning (a well-known local speaker who has been speaking to middle and high school students about love, relationships, and dating for the last 30 years - more info on Brad Henning) come to Chapel Hill on April 1st to share his “best practices” for having meaningful conversations with your kids about these important and difficult subjects. We hope you’ll mark your calendars and plan to join us.
