This page will serve as your information center for all things MEXICO 09. Please check back on a regular basis as we will continually be updating information about the trip.
MEXICO 09 student and leader packets are complete and ready for you to pick up. You can pick them up at the main church office [8.30pm - 5pm], Monday-Thursday], the youth offices or at the HILL on Sunday nights.
Looking to make some money for your MEXICO 09 trip? Make sure and grab a MEXICO 09 packet for more information on how to write a support letter and more information about Square Foot ... both of which will help you make some money to put towards your trip.
REMINDERS
Payment and registration ... the first payment of $400 is due on January 7th. This amount is NON-REFUNDABLE. Also due on January 7th are the completed MEXICO 09 packets.
Training Day ... on Saturday, January 10, is our MANDATORY MEXICO 09 Training Day. The training will last from 10am-1pm. We will go over IMPORTANT details about the trip, get into our teams, coordinate tents, go over safety and rules and a bunch of other team building stuff! Remember, this is a MANDATORY meeting so please plan on being there!
Passports ... it is highly recommended that you get a passport for MEXICO 09. Please refer to your MEXICO 09 packets for more information on where and how to get a passport. We recommend getting started on the passport process ASAP.
Change ... in the original cost of the trip we had removed the cost of staying at a hotel on the back end of our trip. This was because we were planning on staying at a church in San Diego. We have decided to go ahead and stay at a hotel in San Diego [comfy beds and showers] instead of a church which means we are putting back into the MEXICO 09 price approximately $60 per person to pay for the hotel. We feel that adding the hotel back into the trip will help our debrief time as well as put the finishing touches on the trip as a whole. Please add this amount to the overall cost of the trip. The final payment due on February 8th will now be $210.
